Rise and Build

Nehemiah saw broken walls and carried the burden before God. Then he examined the damage, named the problem, and invited the people into the work. The rebuilding began when shared concern became shared action.

Some problems stay large because we keep imagining the resources we wish we had. Nehemiah began with the people, materials, authority, and opportunity already present. The work was difficult, yet the first faithful action changed what seemed possible.

Problem solving becomes stronger when responsibility is shared clearly. People need to know what they can contribute, where their part connects to the whole, and what support is available. Vague encouragement rarely builds a wall. Specific ownership does.

Look at the problem in front of you. Gather the people who are affected and the people who can help. Name the next section of the work. Progress often begins when willing hands stop waiting for perfect conditions.
